|

Our range of Social Housing databases provide you with
the latest information on the social housing sector
across the UK. The level of detail contained
within these databases means that they can be used
equally for sales, marketing, forecasting and strategic
business planning purposes.

We
have six database packages available which cover the
social housing sector. Below is a brief overview of each
package: for more comprehensive information please
select from the tabs on the left. To find out exactly
how Focal Research can benefit your company, please

can review your requirements and recommend which of our
databases will be the most appropriate for you. |

Main Social Housing
Plus
Database
This alternative version of the Main Social Housing

clients who need to know more about landlord
performance and vacant housing stock.
This database allows you to evaluate the performance
of Local Authorities (LAs), Arms Length Management
Organisations (ALMOs) and Registered Social

Social
Housing Summary Database
This is a smaller and less detailed version of our Main database.
It provides the necessary contacts and Group structures for
both LAs and RSLs. It also tracks which of the
four stock refurbishment options each LA is pursuing and
provides summary information on the 2008-2011 National
Affordable Housing Programme.
Our recent
Decent Homes and
Maintenance
Contract Research is available as an optional extra
with this database.

New for 2010 - Social Housing Contractor/Contract
Analysis Tool
The Social Housing Contractor/Contract Analysis Tool
analyses research we have conducted into the contractors
who have successfully gained contracts, from social
landlords, for Decent Homes refurbishment work, or
ongoing maintenance (broken down by planned and
responsive). The analysis covers all English stock
owning local authorities and ALMOs, and every English
major registered social landlord or Group with more than
10,000 stock, allowing you to produce pie charts, bar
charts, graphs or simple spreadsheets analysing the
number and type of contracts each company has gained.

|
Social Housing
Strategy Tool
This very simple pushbutton tool is unlike any of the
other databases we produce for the Social Housing
sector. Offering a top-level strategic overview, it
facilitates a detailed analysis of your current, planned
and future regions which will assist in the effective
planning of resources for both sales and marketing
activities.
|
|
Builders &
Contractors Database
This provides information on building contractors who regularly
carry out refurbishment, maintenance and new build work
in the social housing sector. Further information
on specific contract leads and partnering arrangements
with social housing landlords can be sorted either
according to the type of contract or the
contractor actually carrying out the works.

|
All
of the databases we produce can be used for Strategic
Business Planning at board level encompassing Sales,
Marketing and Business Development. In addition they all share the following
features:
-
Comprehensive, relevant and accurate data that is
researched and constantly updated by ourselves to
ensure the information our clients see is as current
as possible.
-
The ability to be tailored to suit your individual company
requirements. For example, reports can be viewed
via your own sales regions and you can add further
contacts if required.
-
Fully automated with ‘locked in’ reports that can be
pulled off at the touch of a button, enabling even
those with the most basic computer skills to use it
effectively.
-
Installation on as many machines within your
organisation as you wish. It is licensed to your
Company, meaning there is only one price
irrespective of the number of users you have.
-
As long as each computer running the database has
Windows ’98 or more recent versions installed, no
other licences or additional software will be
required.
