Main Social Housing Plus

Encompassing all the information contained within our Main Social Housing Database, and including the ‘Understanding the Social Housing Sector’ training session and monthly bulletins, the Plus version is available as an alternative option.  The main difference is that this version allows clients to examine the performance of Local Authorities, Arms Length Management Organisations and HAs, identifying opportunities where a landlord needs to improve their services.

This Database also contains:

Research into contract decisions made by all stock owning Local Authorities & Arms Length Management Organisations covering:

Decent Homes Work & Target Dates       Ongoing Maintenance Work (& Stores Info)

Similar information for Housing Associations owning over 10,000 stock in England.

The Additional Information Includes:

Audit Commission Inspections

  • The results of Local Authority, Housing Associations and Arms Length Management Organisation inspections carried out by the Audit Commission into the quality of their management and maintenance services.

  • The Database includes details of inspections completed and planned inspection dates, the star rating received and prospects for improvement, all of which can be viewed in report format.

  • Comprehensive narrative information is also included such as Planned & Cyclical Maintenance and Major Repairs Work, Responsive Repairs, Gas Servicing and Recommendations given by the Audit Commission.

  • Details of Short Notice Inspections for Housing Associations are now available following completion of a successful pilot programme.

Vacant Stock Analysis

  • Clients can review vacant stock for all Local Authorities, ALMOs and Housing Associations, including the number of days a property has remained vacant.

Government figures are released at the end of each financial year - Information released on 31st March 2009 is the most up to date data available.

We also provide details of LA targets and costs for repairs and repair management, as well as information on HA repairs performance and rent management.

All of the additional information contained within this database can help you to identify the Social Housing Landlords that are not providing a satisfactory maintenance programme and analyse the areas they need to improve, enabling you to cross-reference this with the services you provide in order to accurately pinpoint who to target.

The above information is just a brief overview of the database. For further details of the content and how it can be of benefit please contact us. We can review your requirements and recommend which of our databases will be the most appropriate for you.
